Weekly Wool Market Report Sept 2, 2008.
Weekly Wool Market Report Sept 2, 2008.

19.0 micron and coarser wools fell 10/15 cents last week as demand remains subdued, but 18.5 and finer wools continue there strong tone during the past 6 months. Cardings continue to struggle with the exception of low value types such as stains which are sourced to keep machinery active, skirtings remain firm with the exception of burry types 8vm and more which are also drifting and Cross breds were also slightly cheaper. Expect this week to be firm and maybe slightly dearer as quantities remain small and the Aussie dollar falling to below 85 US cents.
