Wool markets continued there downward slide for the 5th consecutive week last week from the late January high. Most types fell 15/30 cents for the week but it is worth noting Thursday's market closed slightly dearer as some business was concluded into China/India, and most exporters were agressive sellers for the next 3/4 forward months. With the exchange rate now 92.5 usc we could expect the market to be flat this week, moving forward there is a potential spike in the market in coming weeks with smaller quantities rostered and a 1 week break from sales over Easter.
